This is a wonderful little hospital. I had a procedure done in Ambulatory surgery. Dr. McBride is excellent and RN Mandy M is so kind, caring, and down to earth. Would recommend them to anyone-- we are so lucky to have this little gem in rural upstate NY!

Went to the ER twice with severe back pain. My back was spasming, and I could hardly walk. These people and the doctor working made me feel like I was wasting there time and told me will give you some Tylenol and get you out of here, seriously! Not to mention waiting room was empty when I got there 5 people came in and moved right through, and there i site. Ask why and she told me it's based on your condition. Who make that call the receptionist? Ill never go back here!

unfortunately had to be inpatient recently. Room #20. And as in the ER visits, the hospital staff all went above and beyond. Caring, patient, informative. Top notch care! If you worked the week of May 18th-23rd, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Drs, nurses, and ancillary staff! Everyone! You made my stay, a very painful one, easier. This place almost killed me with malpractice. I mean this very literally. I had a large pleural effusion from cancer. They rapidly drained it all the way to dryness, which you are not supposed to do without monitoring internal pressure. It caused my blood pressure to drop significantly and suddenly. My heart rate increased because my blood pressure was very low. Then, they wanted to give me lorazipam to reduce my heartrate. I went in knowing something was wrong, thank GOD I decided to go to Hamilton hospital because I was having a massive heart attack with two clots obstructing my heart. Although it took a bit for either a flight or ambulance to arrive and the immense agony and panic I was in I felt safe. Although I was transported to upstate I do believe I am alive today by coming to this hospital. I have had other life altering events and have waited over a day in ER situations.
