Alexis and Mike really can't be beat! They went above and beyond to help me stage my house to sell last year. The change was incredible. Alexis was able to see the overall visual outcome (through all of the typical family clutter!) and quickly developed a thorough step-by-step plan to get my house from here to there. She works hard to avoid buying new things and use what the owner already has, which saves the owner money while lessening consumer impact on the environment. Win-win! We strongly recommend working with Mike and Alex. Mike and Alex worked as a great team to take the stress out of our remodel and create the bathroom we always wanted. They were easy to communicate with and understood our needs.
We highly recommend Michael and Community Matters! We worked with him on a Dec 2022 project -- we needed to remove an old gas cooktop and install a new induction cooktop. It required shutting off the gas line, running electrical to the new stove, building a cabinet to house the new cooktop and demoing and tiling the backsplash. He and the sub-contractors he brought in did an expert job and were all very friendly and kept our kitchen super clean through the work. I had the pleasure of working directly with Mike as one of the developers of Arsenal Yards in Watertown. As the Watertown Zoning Enforcement Officer, Mike was an integral partner during the project's permitting, construction, and occupancy.
