I received a text on Thursday, April 24, 2025, for "spruce-up" day. I was told that volunteers would be tree trimming, picking up trash/anything broken, gutter cleaning, and painting. At no moment was I told that anything else would be pulled up, or that weed eating would take place. If I had known, I would have covered the plants that I wanted to keep or protected them somehow.
