I have been to this Immediate Care several times. I have always received help promptly.
The first two times I went to this clinic I was treated with concern and care. The third. Time I was seen by a different NP. Told me all the things she had read in my chart about my issue. Did a simple bloodwork My results came back with an abnormal reading. The NP told a nurse to tell me everything was normal. I looked at the nurse and said no it’s not, I’ll get Tracy the NP for you. The care I was given at Powers Health Immediate Care in St John was fantastic. Everyone, from admissions to the NP treated me with respect and kindness. My family has come here a few times and busy or not they were treated as if they were the only patient in the building.
I was seen very quickly and the registration staff and nurse were wonderful, but the doctor was awful. Dr. Bina Parekh barely listened to me/ asked any questions about my symptoms (just assumed the nurse told her everything correctly) and had her diagnosis before she walked into the exam room. I had to ask for a new inhaler that she wasn’t going to prescribe despite a history of asthma and frequent bronchitis when ill.
