Do not use this Hospice for in- home care. Call ProMedica. My Mom was coming home for in home hospice from UF North Hospital. They set us up with Community Hospice on 7/14/23. She was brought home by ambulance on 7/15/23. The " tuck in nurse" came and was great. She saw my Moms bleeding wounds, etc but also told me my Mom was on a wait list for a home health aid- that is the person that comes 2-3 times a week to help bathe, change sheets as my Mom is bed bound. They don't deserve 1 star. RUN RUN RU!!! DO NOT leave your family members in their care. My father was a patient under Palliative Care. Instead of abiding by their mission of compassion and Florida Statues of palliative care, they helped kidnapped my father and took away his right. This experience was traumatizing and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I still have nightmares. The social worker Kelly Racine was rude, very disrespectful, unethical, a liar, and bias.
