I am so pleased with the excellent care provided to my brother by Dr Humphreys and Isabella (PA). I am health care proxy and attend appointments with him. It is obvious the team here cares deeply about their patients wellbeing. Our visits are thorough and never rushed. The follow up with specialist referrals, prescriptions, etc., is exceptional. The office staff (Tanya) is also excellent (friendly and efficient). Canaan and the surrounding community are very fortunate to have this medical facility. I highly recommend.

I came to get a general wellness check/blood panel. I made it very clear that I didn't have health insurance and would be paying out of pocket. Dr Farevaag looked at her ipad and gave me the prices of the different tests. It ended up being three times the price when I got the Quest bill. Quest billing said to contact the health center. The health center said to contact Quest. No follow through. I was sent to Yale Smilow Cancer Center and this Canaan clinic never followed through with anything. They don’t accept Champ VA insurance after they’ve already seen you for a visit. This clinic was touted to the community as veteran friendly access REALLY ? But you didn’t know what CHAMPVA insurance is ? And you don’t accept it ?!
