I came to get a general wellness check/blood panel. I made it very clear that I didn't have health insurance and would be paying out of pocket. Dr Farevaag looked at her ipad and gave me the prices of the different tests. It ended up being three times the price when I got the Quest bill. Quest billing said to contact the health center. No follow through. I was sent to Yale Smilow Cancer Center and this Canaan clinic never followed through with anything. They don’t accept Champ VA insurance after they’ve already seen you for a visit. This clinic was touted to the community as veteran friendly access REALLY ? But you didn’t know what CHAMPVA insurance is ? And you don’t accept it ?!
