I have been going to this center for over two decades. I have been seeing Linda Maxwell, Physician’s Assistant. I have been through many ups and downs with this center including being fired once for something that wasn’t my fault. However, because Linda has always been an advocate for me and because she tried hard to work things out when there were problems, I stuck with her. Madrey Coover (FNP) saw me a couple of days ago and provided an excellent experience. She was knowledgeable, professional and all in all delightful to deal with. I feel so fortunate to have had her help. The Community Health Center is also fortunate to have her on staff. THANKS.
I love my doctor, but the practice itself (and everything related to MDI Hospital that I have encountered) is really inefficient administratively. If you need a refill on an Rx, count on it taking several days for them to authorize it and count on no one getting back to you about, well, anything. I really wish I did not have to use this practice, but there's nothing else nearby.
Doctor Hanke is the best doctor i’ve ever had. She’s absolutely wonderful, kind, and takes great care and commitment with her patients needs. The lady who answers the phone when the office is closed on the other hand is incredibly rude, though! We all have bad days but sheesh! Made me not want to call again. (None of the ladies at the front desk, simply just the one over the phone line that you get directed to when the office is closed.)
