I purchased a vehicle from Community Ford of Bloomington and was told by the salesman, Joel, that the car was in good condition and that the noise we heard was just an exhaust leak. That was not true. The vehicle has more serious issues than what was disclosed and is currently in the shop and not drivable. I’ve been working with a close friend who purchased a car from this dealer to resolve an issue and it has been a nightmare. They sold her a car that needed a major repair ONE WEEK after purchase. Even the warranty they sold her won’t cover it because they knowingly and fraudulently sold her a faulty car. They have now stopped responding. Wonderful people very helpful and eager to answer all questions
I went in offering the service department a chance to make right some very big mistakes that occurred during my last oil change. Even though I was only asking for a $60 refund, which was the what they charged me for a service that was obviously not done at all, they just made me feel like I didn't matter. I wasn't a new customer. I went there for over 3 years. Completely bizarre and very sad.
Community Ford of Bloomington's service department is the best that I have ever encountered. They have consistently provided outstanding service for my car, going above and beyond my expectations. I recently brought my car in because of a louder- than-usual noise upon acceleration. One of their master mechanics, Mr. Newman, not only ran all of the tests and confirmed that there were no problems, but he also test drove my car with me to make sure that they were not missing anything.
