I had a terrible experience at this place. I went there for a whole blood donation, and the staff kept talking and gossiping near me. Three people surrounded me and just kept talking without paying attention to my blood that was being drawn. At one point everybody was looking at my blood and just starring at me. Like, we go there to donate and help other people, but that's how the staff treat us? With bad humor, closed faces like they can't stand one minute more in that place and ready to leave? Wasted an hour and a half of my day to find no one was there. Not cool.
I have donated here regularly and have noticed service level declining but I thought it wasn’t bad enough to stop donating here until today. I believe the phlebotomist missed my vein entirely and was told I wasn’t hydrated (never had this happen ever and I was plenty hydrated) and was unable to donate at all after being there for an hour. Even more concerning was when I realized on the way home he never disinfected my arm prior to needle insertion. This totally freaked me out.
