Julie is amazing!!
Julie has been incredible with both our son (2 year old) and daughter (4 year old). Our son was quite delayed in speech and his speech exploded after a few weeks with Julie. Julie makes sessions interesting for him by incorporating things he likes (trains, cars, trucks). Our daughter has also improved, and Julie knows she can be anxious and reserved at times so discusses feelings a lot in her speech class - double benefit! After speaking with numerous therapists about my son’s selective mutism, Julie was a blessing. She was confident she had the knowledge and ability to assess his linguistic abilities to make a determination and subsequent recommendations. Julie helped my 14ys old son get rid of a terrible lisp in few sessions only. After a brief phone consultation with me she meet him and helped him from first session. She was honest, fair, precise and very very very competent. She gave my son skills to use from the first meeting and didn’t waste time in long and costly evaluations. Highly recommend her
Julie is an amazing speech therapist and has been a wonderful resource for our son. She really gears her sessions to his needs and interests and promotes a child led, autism affirming approach. Even when we don’t have a session she still sends me links and different videos I might find useful. Would highly recommend!
