I have to give this bad review of NYSEG based on their issues with excessive bills over the past several months. This is absolutely ridiculous. I live in an apartment, only watch TV a couple times a week, am very conservative when I do use energy. I know I am using LESS electricity compared to 18 to 24 months ago and yet my average bill now is almost TWICE what it was back then. Terrible company based on these excessive charges.

Whats the point of adding another bad review. Nyseg do not try and make yourself a better company. Still waiting for an electric project to be completed. Started Oct 21. No reply, long wait times, rude and incompetent employees.

Should be able to give zero stars. Has absolutely no motivation to maintain their power lines and the land around them, but surprise Pikachu face when trees and branches takes out their lines and transformers, leaving almost 100,000 people without power. Meanwhile, a stones throw over to the next house, no one with Penelec lost power or so much a had a flicker or surge with the "large amount of heavy, wet snow," that melted in 4 hours. What a joke.
