We bought our home from Commonwealth Designs (Barlow homes) in 2020. There was no roof insulation installed when we moved in and ran our a/c system constantly. Though roof insulation was blown in the heat system installed in the attic was not properly insulated and when the weather dipped this year it caused several ceiling vents to leak enough water that we had to put towels or buckets down in many rooms. My buddies have received multiple time lines, communicating is a joke after they’ve taken your money. They can’t even deliver the right cabinets to the house that’s suppose to have them installed within the week. Would never waste my money with these people who just take advantage and have no care for their clients well being and living situation. They’ve been waiting since December of 2020.
I have heard horror stories for years from people who have had nightmare experiences building a home. I HAD NONE OF THAT WITH COMMONWEALTH DESIGNS. From start to finish, it was a smooth, enjoyable experience. Jeannette is super knowledgeable and Steve really knows his stuff and cares about doing it right. I'm so happy I chose this builder!
