We saw a motorhome for sale on a RV listings website, and drove 4 hours one way to see the unit, fell in love with it, and placed a deposit on the unit. It was a bank repo. We were not allowed to test drive it or to see it on "shore power" until their "PDI" was completed, yet we were expected to take delivery on the unit in 10 days or lose the deposit. All I can say is... What happened to Commonwealth RV? This in my third RV purchase and it was nothing like the first two which were great. This time the unit price was $2,000 higher than I felt the motor home was worth, the trade-in value for the old one was $2,000 less than discussed on the phone, and I had to find my own financing to get the best interest rate. I am a business person and have been for many years. I know what customer service is all about. Commonwealth RV offers the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered! We were lied to many times, the RV we purchased was not checked out and all major systems working like we were told they would be. Upon complaining to the GM I was told they would not do anything else to try to satisfy me saying that I could not be satisified or made happy.
