We have been to Tiltn Diner a lot for breakfast with no complaints, but dinner there the other night was such a disappointment— ordered the homemade creamy Mac-n-cheese with pulled pork which was anything but creamy. The Mac-n-cheese was so dry and the pulled pork was cubes of dry pork drenched in bbq sauce and then the entire dish was drizzled in bbq sauce. Not what I was expecting and prob won’t return

If I could give negative stars I would. Went at 730pm Sunday, Father's Day. Parking lot was nearly EMPTY. The hostess was ready to seat our party of 8, the manager walked over, looked at us, and refused to seat us for a solid 30+ minutes. The place was empty. It was extreme discrimination. I was appalled. I have never been treated so poorly. The hostess looked apologetic but we walked out and went to Georgios. Do not give this place your money! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We have eaten here countless times and have enjoyed each time.

The C man is a local fav. Great atmosphere and solid food. Bar area is very cozy.

My wife and I went to Fosters Steakhouse on our anniversary and I am disabled COPD and other issues that make it difficult for me to get around. So when we went in the waitress started to lead us quit aways and I could not go that far. Then the manager came out and gave us a room close by. We were by ourselves and it was the best anniversary we ever had! Thanks to the thoughtful staff at this great place to eat! Thanks for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Our family recently went to Tilt'n Diner on a whim. What a great choice!!! Between the service, the on-duty manager and Hostesses - Tilt'n Diner was fantastic!! Everyone was so courteous and friendly and the food was wonderful. The atmosphere was awesome and very authentic. Portions were more than generous and all 5 of us had enough to take home for the next day! Even the fellow patrons across from us were friendly and in wonderful spirits. When I went to Common Man for the first time I thought it would be good, it was awful. I got pork tenderloin with a maple syrup glaze. When I ate it it tasted like it was drenched in maple. It was really bad. The more I ate the worse I felt. It tasted like black licorish because of one of the spices they seasoned it in. My dad had "The Best Crab cakes in New England" and said they weren't that good. For desert we had Creme Brule which was very good.

I would never recommend the Italian Farmhouse to anyone. If you want to feel like you are getting "Italian" food and you like being charged for sloppy food, then go right ahead. I was told by local friends after moving here that this place was the place to go. So, I did. Not only was this not good Italian food, but the service was just as bad. If you truly want as authentic as you can get, then go to Giuseppe's in Meredith.
