I love the design of my home. It’s beautiful but they definitely used cheap materials to built it. So many things had to be fixed… plus one year and a month , my water heater dead. The plumber said it was a faulty water heater. Today, the frame around the attic entry fell from the ceiling. I never look in there but you can see they didn’t nail it to the ceiling correctly. If that would have fallen on my grandson, well I can’t say what would have happened. They need to step up in their building skills..
Beware of the fine print when purchasing. For $180.000 we got an apartment sized refrigerator, cheap stove, and the ship lap with fireplace that we paid extra for is uneven and off center. Siding is warped in certain areas. Measure standard sizes appliances before signing off on anything. We now have a mini fridge inside a giant cabinet. I emailed them 2 years ago. Still to this day have never heard back. It's on us to fix all of the issues they left behind.
Review is based on a custom 1680sq ft modular. We chose commodore because of the option to design our own floorplan. Overall unimpressed with the build quality. Nearly every receptacle is crooked. Light switches installed upside down or wired to random switches that dont make sense. Every sink bowl leaked, I had to tighten them. No walls are painted, just cheap primer. Had interesting tour of factory, bought a home from them. Had it delivered to my ranch. They are very good at manufacturing homes. Will customize your plan.
Overall sturdy built home. Other things we have had to have redone or replaced. Carpet was cheap even though we paid for best grade. Deck door and fireplace have never worked correctly. The stain comes off the cabinets with water. We are paying to have them redone. There’s been multiple things we’ve had them come fix, but it was never done right.
