Dr. Commisso is incredibly warm, attentive and thorough. I have been seeing her for years. She is also very intelligent and helpful. Highly recommend!
I chose this office because the doctor was on my list of covered doctors through Medicare. Only to get there for my appointment and be told sorry, we take that coverage for our old patients not new patients. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. You may want to inform Medicare of that rule. Now since I already left my other doctor's office I have nowhere to go.
I can't give zero. Avoid this woman she does not care about "life" or the quality of it. Her staff isn't any different. My medical records were never obtained and my health has declined greatly since 2022. Recently I've been made aware my negative treatment since is tied directly to Joy Commisso. She is well connected with MANY in the healthcare field in and around Syracuse. This office is a joke. After being a patient for decades in was discharged from the practice for not being sick enough and going there enough. So when I am sick and needed to be seen they refused to see me until i first scheduled a routine visit. There’s a reason for the 3 star review, I’d give it a zero this place isn’t focused on “healthcare,” only thing they care about is turning a profit.
Dr. Commisso is exceptionally thorough. I have seen her for several years, she has always given good advice and addresses all my issues. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
