They majorly screwed up with the trash hauler switch. While Republic was horrible the role out for GFL was horrendous. Republic took two of my recycling bins that I had paid $45 each for from a completely different company. Now GFL just picked up my brown Republic can that I paid $90 for and dumped it in their truck. I want it taken out of my taxes but you know that will never happen.
I live on a major cut through street and the traffic is so bad that I cannot even get in or out of my driveway during rush hour due to the backup. We all would like to see this street closed on one end and would even pay for it to happen! Unfortunately I feel it is going to take something bad happening to one of the 6 children that have to walk down the street to and from the bus stop everyday before anyone cares.
Recommendedit will always be home. lakes area location is a plus.
I have to say that I am impressed. Had a problem arise in my neighborhood on a Saturday and Mr. Scott took care of it within hours. Thank you sir.
I would warn anyone thinking of moving to the Commerce Township not to. I live in a subdivision that has a President of the homeowner association who wants his road repaved . Commerce Township rules for a Special Assessment District state that you will all pay the same for the road work regardless of your homes frontage however when calculating the 51% of interested homeowners the homes with the most frontage votes count more. I feel that Commerce Township should change their rules to one homeowner one vote. if you move here... read more

Michigan your DNR needs to get a refresher course in just how far they can take their arrogance. Does anyone oversee this group of egomaniacs who think all they have to do is placate anyone who complains about the Swan and Geese population. There are those love the beauty of these birds and with all the thousands of miles of lakes Michigan has there is no need to constantly be SLAUGHTERING these beautiful birds. I shop in Commerce, my daughter is in 8th grade at Clifford Smart, I feel like I am at home here. Looking forward to opening a restaurant in Commerce. We live in Waterford and hoping to move to Commerce over the next year or so.
