I have banked with Commerce for many many years; however recently this summer they started charging a service charge for a paper print out of the monthly transactions. I'm not comfortable with on line banking, there are too many hackers that seem to get in anywhere they want. This was originally a no cost checking account, free checks and no monthly service charge. This review is for the Republic branch of Commerce Bank. My smalltown bank knew me after I visited within two weeks, called me by name and asked about my family after 2 months. This branch serves a tenth of the customers at my former bank, no effort to know who I am and wants photo id everytime I want to cash a check for over 100.00. They also want to change the agreement on services I am entitled to AFTER I put my money in.
