I have been a customer at Commerce for 15+ years. And I’ve never experienced such bad customer service as I did today. I lost my job and had an account that was over drawn. I had every intention of paying the balance when I could. I had to go through some hoops of getting a new ID and making sure I had the feed+ over draft charges before returning to the bank. I'm very satisfied with Commerce Bank & the Service I recieve. Everyone is courteous & I never have to wait.
Tried to get a form notorized and got nothing but trouble from the teller and then from the manager. The manager said she couldn't do the notary today because of my rudeness and to come back another day. I told her that I wasn't being rude and that's my personality.That escalated the encounter. So, needless to say I left without getting noterized. So when I do come back to that bank, it will be to close all 4 accounts and end my 40 year relationship with Commerce Bank.
Definitely better than the Maryland heights branch.
