I bought the Commencal Ramones 14” for my 3-year-old, and it has been an absolute game-changer! The build quality is outstanding—lightweight yet super sturdy, making it perfect for little riders who are just getting confident on two wheels. Easy to assemble, the geometry is spot-on, giving my kid a comfortable and stable ride, and the grippy tires handle all kinds of terrain with ease. The simple yet effective disk brakes are a great touch, helping my little one learn control without overwhelming them. It’s clear that Commen... read more

What a great little bike the Ramones 16 is! Packs a lot of value into a little bike with it being amazing balanced for our 4 year old. Buying was easy, ordered online and 2 days later it’s on our doorstep, simple to build, and off on the trails in under an hour. A great first MTB for a young rider!!

Same issue with Meta Ht 24 over last 15 months - crank arm/chain ring continually falls off and requires constant tightening with a torque wrench set at 55Nm (has happened 4 times mid-ride, which has ruined a couple of MTB trips). The MTB shop couldn’t believe the setup. Additionally, AU site don’t sell replacement grips for their bike which are unique sizing for the Protaper bar. NZ site does sell for $24, but you'll need to spend $80 in Australia to source from a 3rd party. Also, when delivered, bike was dumped out the fro... read more

I bought a Commencal HT for my son as he was progressing on his riding. Crank arm kept sliding of the bottom bracket and kept re tightening the spindle. The crank arm fell off while riding and took the bike to the local mechanic. Unfortunately this is not a uncommon issue with Commencal bike. Spoke with Commencal emailed warranty department and now 7 days later, still no answer or response, silence. Great bikes untill they break and then don't expect any service or guidance.

Unfortunately upon ordering a bike, being last in spec/size, it was sold to someone else. I was pretty dissapointed. Lads at Commencal went extra mile to fix issue making sure I ended up on bike I wanted, even giving me store credit to grab some goodies. Seems like they're pretty keen to look after their customers. Picked up today.
