To start with I was traveling and knowing I had a pet traveling with me I called ahead to clarify the pet policy. I was quoted a price and I confirmed with the individual who took my reservation that the price quoted included the pet fee. The person stated, “yes, all fees included”. How this place has 4.1 stars is beyond me. Don’t let the outside fool you. When you first walk in the smell is so strong! It’s like they put 10 bottles of that powder carpet freshener down! Carpets in the hallways are all stained, literally every floor. Got to our room and there were stains everywhere, pillows, bedding, curtains, and mold all over the bathroom and carpet in the room and the air unit. Just stopped by on our way to FL. Little pricy, but that was due to the Rod Run taking place in the area. Clean rooms, nice staff.

I am an over the road truck driver and when I end up at the Knoxville terminal off Strawberry Plains Pike I always come to this hotel. The reason is Diane because she makes me feel wanted and right at home. She always greets me with a smile and is always asking what I need. She mutitasks while keeping a conversation going with me. Faye and her daughter April work so hard over in the breakfast area. They both are always asking if I need anything and have a smile on their face. They both keep the area stocked up and clean.
