I recently booked a room with points for my younger brother on his birthday. I have done this numerous times with many choice hotels. I even put in the special requests that it would be my brother checking in and put all his info. They arrived after midnight only to be told that they would not honor the points because I was not there. They were told it was a “management decision” and not an actual choice policy. Texas you should do better your customer service is disgusting. Checking into this hotel we called for an early check in the day before we made the reservation. The day of check-in we were told we did not have an early check in when it clearly says on our reservation early check in and upper floor. Guess what floor we are on right the first. Whatever we check in at 2 pm go to the room I try to turn on the shower and you guest it the shower handle comes off in my hands. I asked them multiple times to clean our rooms and they never did. The rooms me and my family stayed in did not smell good at all. We stayed in two rooms that were connected and someone else’s medicine was on the floor on one of the sides of the doors. When I was calling down to the front desk, It was not calling and then I realized that there was no cord with the phone in one and no cord with the phone in the other room. There is also roaches in both of the rooms. None of the outlets in both of the bathrooms worked.
