We stayed at Comfort Suites at Isle of Palms Connector Mount Pleasant, SC from 10/8 to 10/10. We usually use a different hotel brand, but we chose this one for its location. The location was great, but the air conditioning unit in our room was not working correctly: the air was not circulating, and the temperature was not regulating properly. The room smelled very musty, and our clothes felt damp when we returned home. I woke up with a sore throat because the air was unclean.
Almost didn't stay here after reading a few bad reviews but glad we did. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable, even grandaughter's sofa bed. Front desk staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Location was quiet. Restaurant / bar next door was convenient and had great food. Will definitely stay here again next trip.
