We found three roaches in our room. I reported it to the front desk who said they would send housekeeping. Then they called our room and said we were moving to another room. These post covid procedures of not providing maid service during a stay obviously aren't working. Keeping dirty towels and trash in rooms has to encourage bug infestations. On July 12, 2025, my wife and I stayed at this hotel. My wife is a Hospice patient with Stage 4 cancer. We were in SC on a bucket list trip seeing family. I booked a room that provided a some accessibility features including bars near the toilet and a larger area to navigate a wheelchair. PROBLEM: The room was on the 3rd floor - which would've been okay IF THEIR ELEVATOR WAS WORKING which is wasn't and my wife wasn't having an emergency. This hotel is in a great location. I recommend that the hotel start replacing the pillows, chairs, carpet, and mattress due to wear and tear. Other than that it a decent place to stay.
