First let me say I work in the hotel industry and I understand how busy and demanding it can be. Walking in the lobby is and breakfast area were clean and inviting. Checking in was quick and the staff were very nice. The hot tub was down and the pool was freezing cold. Staff did try to get the pool to warm up but by morning it was still cold. The pool area was dirty and disorganized, the bathroom was filthy. Breakfast was average, staff had a hard time keeping food and coffee stocked. We stayed in a double queen suite. The r... read more

Clean, friendly hotel, comfortable bed. They do need to do a better breakfast though, other hotels are much much better.

I would strongly caution anyone—especially families—against staying at Comfort Suites Stevens Point. I was traveling with a child, and the condition of our room was completely unacceptable. It smelled strongly of body odor, there was garbage on the floor, something sticky on the lamp, and the shower drain was covered in debris. The most disturbing issue was discovering an explicit adult item left under the bed covers. We picked this place because of the working hot tub. Only to get there and it wasnt working No heat. Fortunately, they did compensate us for our inconvenience.
