He is still scamming people. As usual, he lures you in with a low price and request for a deposit. I refused to give him the deposit for the job. He showed up at my place with a furnace and said he couldn't complete the job and that he needed other parts and tools. I paid him $2700 since the furnace was already at my place. Quick initial response. Paid 300$ for fireplace part. Always had excuses. Now 11 months later not answering phone calls.
Completed half the job, then gave endless excuses of family illnesses, deaths, etc. Kept the money. First said his mother died then months later said she was sick. Turns out he's a serial con artist with a hundred people after him.
Hi Everyone, I used this guy and as expected he never showed up and never returned my money, I have filled a police complaint and my lawyers are looking to file a collective case so to make sure it falls under serious criminal offence. UPDATE:: 2 MONTHS of false promises to pay back and now next step is reporting to the police for Fraud and Multiple Scam Charges I’m sure.. Have made contact already with them and have arranged meeting with them tomorrow at 11 am. Still no refund so no choice now.
