Sadly there was a change in staff at the main office. Also, my client was hospitalized for an indeterminate amount of time. I did not receive any work after that so I had to move on to another agency. I did enjoy everyone that was there when I was first hired that would be Monica and Shawn. Jodi who handles the 24/7 lines when the office is closed is also a delight. It just seems to be an unsettled nature in the main office right now that I don’t want to deal with so I’ve had to move on. Wishing them all well in 2026.

My aide was great. I had to have outpatient surgery and had no ride or care partner. She showed up on time, quickly felt comfortable in my home. She was there during my post-op recovery while I was waking up. She asked questions of the care team to ensure what to watch for when back at home. She stayed for some hours after surgery to make sure I was safe and not groggy to get around and do my own self care after she was to leave. I do not recommend this company. The manager at the Niceville office smokes at her desk all day long and cusses at staff. I was fired for talking to the owner about my mental health. I am fortunate that the American Disabilities Act is on my side.

I love working at Comfort Keepers in Niceville, FL. I’ve worked at 4 agencies in the last 20 years and the reasons I love them are the following: 1. They are understanding and approachable. The office staff have worked in the field as caregivers and they understand what the caregivers are going through. 2. They pay trip stipends if you have to go through tolls.
