Booked a room using my credit card for my grandmother. Rooms were 2 nights $60 each under medstay due to my aunt with cancer. They arrived was rudely told they would have to pay cash or another card because if its not in her name “she dont want it”. So my grandmother paid and left one night early due to how bad the hotel was (which is enough for a book itself) long story short. She took advantage of my grandmother and charged her $90 for ONE NIGHT and did not give her the medstay discount out of spite.

I did not experience bedbugs! The first reviews found online will scare you! I am a long-term Choice Hotel member. Just for one night, the room was acceptable (not great, acceptable). The front desk ladies both night and morning appeared to be super friendly! as of this review: july 22nd, the hotel was literally sold out and packed with Durham residents impacted from the flood. This place is disgusting ! When you first enter, the lobby smells like mildew . The elevator is a little rough when stopping on floors, they have a plumbing issue but most importantly they have roaches . Not just one in my hotel room but 6 ! I told the lady at the front desk and she did not seam surprised and nicely gave me a new room but the room was right across from the room i was staying in previously . Let this be a reminder to always check your room!

Very nice hotel but the bathroom is way to small but it’s very convenient and good place and clean
