Honestly, I should have trusted my first impression. Just walking into this hotel, the overall appearance was disgusting and extremely unclean. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and thought, “Okay, maybe it just looks this way,” especially after I didn’t immediately see any bugs or other issues. Overall it was a good stay, but the rooms are very outdated and had an odor to them. Positives would be that the front desk lady was SUPER nice, there were no bugs, and towels and sheets were clean. Would stay here again if needed.

I am trying to stay at this hotel this weekend (Sept 4). I found a room at this hotel with good reviews. My husband is paying for the stay and he will not be with me. Problem: The hotel frontdesk person said there is no way I can get a room. This is insane. I would have an ID, a ss if they want. Damn, things get tighter and tighter, like a noose. You REALLY don't want to stay here. I made the reservation from out of state and since there were so many good reviews over negative ones and most other hotels were $100 more per night and sold out, (4th of July weekend), and I was trying to save money... well, I learned a lesson this trip. I will NEVER ever stay anywhere other than a Hampton Inn. There were roaches EVERYWHERE. OMG to even think back to the night I was there freaks me out. Rooms are very clean. Everything works and lots of capacity to plug things in. Spacious room. Towels folded in pleasing way. Hair dryer in bathroom also has a green nightlight embedded so night bathroom runs do not effect others in room. There is a gift shop with things like shirts, mugs, hats, toiletries, etc on first floor directly opposite of check in desk.
