Very friendly and attentive staff, specifically at the front desk and our housekeeper on the 3rd floor. After driving 14 hours, the hotel we originally booked did not have their pool open, which was a huge disappointment since we were traveling with kids. I called this Comfort Inn, and the girl at the front desk helped us with the switch seamlessly; she made the new booking so much faster and easier for us. Location and room layout was good. Service was poor. Water shut off mid-shower, tried to call front desk and phone was not functional (for our entire 3 day stay). When I tried to call front desk from a cell phone call went to voicemail. Husband went down to front desk to ask about water shutoff and inoperable phone, when staff person had to be interrupted (personal conversation) husband was told “they are working on it”. Unfortunately, no part of this experience met expectations. Upon arrival, we were informed that rooms had not yet been cleaned and were told we could check ourselves to see if any were ready. When we did, we found a room in an unacceptable condition, including pizza boxes left on the floor. After requesting a clean, ready room, we were assigned one with a broken shower.
