The young lady who checked us in was excellent. She was friendly, welcoming, and provided outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, our experience the following morning was very different. The employee on duty did not greet us when we left or returned, and throughout the day there was little to no interaction. Comfort Inn quality has gone downhill so bad in the last several years. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on 5/14/2026. The fan in the bathroom had so much dirt on it I was afraid of it being a fire hazard. I did tell the front desk about it. The shower was gross with mold. How do you not see that? There was a dead 2 inch cockroach in the floor. We have stayed several times at the Comfort Inn in Augusta Ks & their cleanliness was just as bad. We have stayed here before but each time getting a bit less cared for. Work out room units aren't functioning. They weren't last time we stayed here either (year ago). Rooms are in need of some touch ups :-( Breakfast is basic. BUT not a deal breaker, just hoping for a bit of improvement.
