This place was rented for our band students after the Beeville Area Band Competition. Horrible experience, rooms were not ready at check in, no locks on some room doors, dead roaches on bed and several bedbugs along with red/blood/rust stains on mattress. Most of the rooms had a permeable musty smell. Down stair bar music was so loud we couldn't sleep and feared that someone would come into the rooms that had no locks. We have been staying at this hotel twice a year for a week each time for over 6 years now. We have been watching it slowly get worse. Well now the rooms are infested with several different types of roaches.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE. Stupidly horrible. This place is not a hotel. It’s a bar that just happens to have musty rooms to rent. Seriously. Music is loud enough to make items in the room rattle. Earplugs are no use because bass goes right through. My son left and decided to sleep in his truck. I thought the bar closed at 11pm. So I called the front desk and the guy said they go until midnight. At 12:40am the bar is showing no signs of quieting down or stopping. We flew in from the east coast. Tried to see if they would let us check in early. Big fat NO! So we had to drive around til checkin time. Go to check in and 2 new girls who didn’t know what they were doing tried for over 30min to do so. Tried to down grade our king for 2 doubles. Said they couldn’t find a room for us, and had to call a co-worker 5 times to ask her what to do. The bar was bust an ear drum loud. The room had a lot of very old and worn down places. If you’re looking for a place to stay, keep looking. The bar was so loud we could hear it on the third floor. The furniture is falling apart and the ac unit was loud but the music down stairs would actually drown it out. The girl that checked us in was very nice, that was the only nice part of the hotel.
