I travel a lot. This place impressed me. Exceptional all around. I was quite surprised.
If you stay at the comfort inn rivers edge then you better like train whistles every half hour ALL night long. Worst stay, I ever had at a hotel.
DO NOT COME IN OCTOBER! My room had spiders on the ceiling, bugs in the windows , my water pressure was really bad , there was a stain on my pillow , and the toilet even makes a werid noise 2 mins after flush. Now I’m not saying it’s so sos terrible but the not so good definitely outweighs the good.
Second year up with a crew of 18 guys - walked in today 10/17/2025 with confirmation number and proof of confirmation. Front desk said we have your room block but no rooms are in it??? No rooms available good luck. We were able to secure rooms 5 minutes down the road at Sawmill Creek Resort and this is where we will be staying from here on out; much nicer accomidations!!
Well I ordered a water view room to be given a parking lot view . But, its a quaint place
