It was under construction, but they still did good.
From check in to check out they carried themselves like total professionals
FYI: as of this review, the hotel is still under renovation. My wife couldn't stay here because of the strong smell of paint was affecting her asthma. The room we were in for a few moments wasn't completely finished and was missing closet doors. The location is great and I'm sure it will be a great hotel to stay at once it is finished being remodeled. As a courtesy, it would have been nice to know the hotel was under construction prior to booking. Front desk promptly refunded our reservation.
Now its possible that I missed the post on the website that they we're doing renovations, However my tub and room should have still been clean. I wont be staying here again, as a choice member its shameful and disappointing . I tried asked for cleaning products because I clean professionally and all they had was a spray bottle of germicide. I had to go purchase cleaning products from Meijer located thankfully right behind the hotel at 8pm . Everything in this place needs an overhaul. The lobby and elevators are horrifying. We stay here at least once or twice a year. They are under construction right now. Had a newly constructed room which was very nice, bed comfortable, smelled of fresh paint but that was okay. Shower had low pressure that could have been better. Husband enjoyed the hot tub. Our only complaint was while eating the breakfast (which was decent) the construction worker was sanding the wall nearby and even though I didn’t see dry wall dust I kept thinking it must be going all over the place and people are eating breakfast.
