I always stay at any Comfort Inn whenever I travel, and when I have family visiting I always recommend this location or the one in Clovis. However when trying to book a room, I called Comfort Inn Portales to confirm I made the reservation and was left on hold for over 20 minutes! I just hung up and called again at that point Customers shouldn't have to wait such a long time for a yes or no question; imagine if there was a bigger question needing to be answered! Nice place
14 hour cross country drive today, ending at a choice hotel in Portales NM. Just wanted a hot shower and a bed. After more than 10 minutes of running water STILL NO HOT WATER!! When I called the front desk, I was told I'd need to let it run 20 minutes or more! This is the desert Southwest!! Water is a premium and in short supply! What a waste of both water and my time!! Don't stay here, they don't care. It's like being In a 3rd world country!
