I traveled in with my dog so that I could pick up my daughter the next day. The staff were all really nice. The hotel is really well-maintained. I asked for a late check out which they were able to accommodate. My dog staying was only $35 (for the week if I needed), which is a great rate. Beds were super comfy. Room was spotless and no lingering odors at all.
The staff was rude, the room was sub-par - shower not cleaned well, no seating other than bed in the room. The only benefits to the hotel was its location and the breakfast.
Rooms and staff were great, but the clientele was terrible. Don’t stay here for free breakfast, it’s a disaster. Again the hotel and staff are fine, but 45 minutes for some guy to cook 20 waffles for friends and family is wrong.
The pics online show a hot tub, reviews mentioned a hot tub and pool, but there is definitely no hot tub. There is a pool though. Not heated, in case anyone wanted to know. Rooms are ok upon this visit.
ACCESSIBILITY REVIEW: The Comfort Inn Whitehall has handicap parking that is about twenty steps from the front door. The front door is a flat entry and is motion activated. The lobby is wide with plenty of space. The front desk was built for giants, however. The counter is very high and the screens are hard to reach from a seated-position. THE STAFF IS AMAZING!!
