Breakfast food was ok but staff failed in hand hygiene when handling food. Elevator was broken and no explanation of when it was to be fixed, pool was empty of water with no signs up telling this information and staff was not forth coming when asked when it would be working. No one cleaned or picked up our rooms and when towels were asked for the answer was "this is not a full service hotel, come get it if you want one" and when I asked the next day I was challenged by staff at desk saying "4 in my room was not enough" and s... read more
We were very disappointed. The elevator was broken and we were on the third floor. We specifically looked for a hotel with a pool and when we got here found out they don't open the pool until the end of May. We were told by the front desk that must places don't open pools until then but when driving around we saw plenty of pools open. The room size was great. The location is great it's about 10 minutes from Savannah State and it's walking distance from several food places and retail stores ( TJ Maxx, Bealls, Five Below, Burlington, Shoe Carvinal etc). The front desk guy is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are very spacious. It's my go to hotel when I come it's a hidden gem. It's also affordable.
