We hired Kendell Sheppard, chef and owner of Comfort Eats & More to cater our wedding on 10/16/2023. We paid for a serviced buffet for 75 people. We also had a clause added to our contract stating he would prepare a separate meal without garlic for my (the bride's) father with a garlic allergy and a separate meal for our groomsman who has several deadly allergies. Comfort Eats & More recently catered 2 lunches for us. Chef Kendell was very helpful and accommodating for our request. We ended up getting box lunches for the 1st day and fried chicken with southern style sides. Everything was delicious and we look forward to ordering from them again!
First off, Kendall is professional, punctual, and polite. He takes pride in his appearance and in the preparation and presentation of his meals. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We had a 4 course dinner and there was no ‘best part of the dinner’, the cocktails/appetizer, the entree, the dessert and so on…everything was excellent. He cleaned along the way. Tried them for the first time when they catered an event and it was so fresh and delicious that I ordered a meal to go the next day for lunch!!!!!
