My patients sometimes have to use Comfort Caravan for their transportation provider. They will bring patients an hour early to drop them off, when it comes to picking them up - they will leave them stranded at our office for hours. Today, we had a patient call and explain the office was closing in an hour, the heat index is close to 90 and she was not going to be able to be outside due to health issues. UPDATE: RETURN RIDE NEVER SHOWED...Been waiting at the Doctor's office for over an hour for my return ride. Dispatcher doesn't seem to know what's going on with his driver. I hope I can go home soon. Not even sure if they are going to show up. I don't know what to do.
Driver was a half hour late which made us late to a doctor appointment. The return service was even worse. We were told to call when ready for pickup, which we did, but now we’ve been waiting for 2hours! And WE ARE STILL WAITING!
I Was picked up Today by Comfort Care A Van and it was a very pleasant experience. The Driver who's name was Marcus was very polite and I felt very safe about his driving. He was very well spoken and respectful. All in all he was a really great guy. I've rode with other taxi services but this one is the only one who actually contacts you when they arrive and calls ahead to give you an ETA. I've never seen another taxi company that does that. The custom service is awful. When you call for a return transport, they quote you an estimated wait time which is usually just a wild guess. Once that wait time expires and you call again, they are unapologetic for the extraordinarily long wait and quote you yet another wild guess. My 90-year old Mom deserves so much better treatment. Shame on this company.
