From the warm atmosphere, pleasant conversations, fresh and tasty robust coffee and a meal patiently prepared with the freshest ingredients, seasoned perfectly exhibiting the stellar culinary talents of Chef Lauren, this is definitely a gem! Breakfast AAA+! We will be back to experience lunch. A must visit on your list!
The service was non existent. We walked in and there were only 2 tables seated- 1 had food, the other had their order already taken. We were seated quick but it took 10 minutes just to have the waitress get an order, another 10 for drinks to arrive. 35 minutes for food. One of my favorite brunch spots in the area! Comfort is a local gem with an authentic Southern flair. My faves are the biscuits with chorizo sausage gravy and the spicy chicken and waffles(with orange bourbon syrup). Definitely check them out if you're in Ambler *They are also have a great space for small parties and do lovely catered events*
This hidden gem is worth the trip! Hidden inside a business park our server told us they have been open for two years! Where have I been? Apparently they provide lunch to the businesses in the complex during the week but it is open to the public as well. I'll have to check it out. We went for brunch and it was delicious. We came once and that was enough to know we won’t be back. The server basically ignored us for a while when we were waiting for a table. She wasn’t knowledgeable about the specials, told us to not get certain foods because they “were very bad.” Took a very long time just to get drinks after being sat. The food wasn’t terrible but not worth coming back. They need better servers that actually care about the business and will be more prompt for service. We spent $100 and it was highly a waste.
