Our 106 year old dear friend was in failing health and required assistance 8 hours each day for his daily needs. (The evening and night help was provided by his live-in grandson.) One aide worked Monday through Friday, the other on weekends. Both of these ladies provided affection as well as the basic needs for our friend.
