It's known as a place for local bands to play, and it has always been an epicenter of Seattle's eclectic music activity. Add some pinball machines, a pool table and cheap beers, and you have the perfect dive bar. The creaky floorboards protesting at every step and very smoky interiors seems to be appropriate for those who take their nightlife seriously.

Only at the Comet Tavern could you expect to get a $1 beer while watching a kickass show... I mean really.. the bartenders are awersome and fast. didn't wait long at all and it was pretty busy for a weekday. What do you expect when its only $1 beers during happy hour and at night too... so rock on Comet Tavern and keep on keep'n with the cheap beers. And the awesome shows.
I went to the Comet Tavern with some friends and we had a really good time. Great show for only $6. Everyone was having a good time and rocking out to the music. I thinking everyone liked the $1 beers as well. HELLYEAH!!
