I’m very disappointed with my experience at Comet Cleaners in New Braunfels. I brought in three dresses and was quoted $11 and change per dress, which I agreed to. When I picked them up, I was charged an additional $5 to iron a belt, which was never disclosed to me beforehand. I refused the extra charge because I had not agreed to it. The employee then would not release my clothing until the issue was resolved and repeatedly questioned me about whether I was recording with my Meta glasses. Comet always does a great job. It would be nice if there was a location closer to 306.
I have used several of cleaners since I moved to New Braunfels and they all have been close to what I wanted. I was a regular customer at the Comet in my hometown and they always did excellent work, so this morning I decided to try the Comet on 46. I took in four items that I wanted to be laundered and extra heavy starched. The young lady said she could do that and that my items would be ready by 5 PM today.
