I brought a brand new dress for dry cleaning. Upon my first pickup, the dress had visible white residue streaks and what looked like grease stains. The staff admitted fault and offered to re-clean it. When I received it the second time, the dress was covered in black spots. Again, they acknowledged the damage and offered a third attempt. We've been using this cleaner for a while and were generally pleased with the service until just recently. First, a black cashmere sweater came back with some orange substance all over it, melted into the fibers. The sweater is ruined. Then, a silk blouse was returned with damage. It looks like it was caught in something that caused the fabric to gather up and damage the fabric where it was gathered, leaving a pattern of repeated marks across the back. Comet Cleaners is by far the best cleaners I have used in Texas. Their service is top notch and turnaround time is wonderful when in a pinch. I will travel far from my house to use this location.
