I'd say stay away. They ruined a $100 velvet formal dress... crushed the fabric on the seams and then they were mad that I pointed it out to them and wanted them to fix it. Took the dress in originally to fix the zipper - had to take it back because the zipper hung down out the back of the dress about four inches - like a tail. After third visit they basically told me there was nothing they could do, see ya. So if you value your clothes at all, take them somewhere else. The Best!!! – I have been a customer at Comet Cleaners for sometime now and I'm shocked to see they are 3.5 stars. Since my first visit the lady who works the front counter has always been super nice and helpful with any questions I had about my clothes being cleaned. I'd say it took only a month for her to remember my name and every time I go I am greeted by my first name. I think the prices are fair for the area, come on... it's Uptown. Poor Attitude – My shirts weren't pressed properly. I complained to the owner, he blamed the machine. The machine has an operator, I replied. He said, Thank you dissmissively. I won't be back and I don't recommend this cleaners to anyone. I had been a customer for nearly 4 yrs.

Horrible Service – I took my comforter in on a Friday, they say do to the weekend it won't be ready til Monday. So Monday I go to pick it up, and they say oh no it won't be ready til Wednesday. I went out of town, and got back and my friend had picked it up for me. They had stuffed it in a bag, not very nicely, while it was still wet! So no I have to take it to another dry cleaner so I can get the smell out of it, and all the wrinkles out of it! my favorite cleaners!!! – I recently moved to the area and tried a few cleaners nearby only to be dissappointed either by high prices or ruining my clothes. Then a neighbor in my building suggested I go try Comet Cleaners so I did and I am so glad I did. As a first time customer the staff there were really friendly and accomodating to explain prices upfront and they can also keep whatever preferences you might have on file so you do not have to tell them every time which I thought was awesome!!! Overpriced & No Longer Customer Centric – We have been clients of the Dallas Uptown Comet Cleaners Location for nearly a decade. We are happy to be loyal to any business that shows us both good service AND good customer relations. The change in ownership in the recent years has brought on a steady increase in pricing, but no positive increase in service ammenities or customer focused programs and relations. Over priced! – Thank goodness for all the people who don't mind paying too much for every day run of the mill services like dry cleaning. Even after the so called discounts this Comet offers, the prices still equate to almost double what others charge. Location is the only reason they can do this. The services are not as premium as the prices.

OVER PRICED! – I'm relatively new to the Dallas area and was looking for a dry cleaners to frequent. I chose it after reading positive reviews online and for its location. It's WAY overpriced! With the 40% off discount included, my bill was still 50% more than what it cost to clean the same exact items in Austin! (For comparison, I lived in Central Austin and went to a comparable quality of cleaners). I will DEFINITELY keep looking for another place.
