Online customer service has failed 3-4 months in a row so we tried visiting a location in-person to resolve our issue. After 10 minutes security finally answered the doorbell only to tell us "Comed no longer handles customer issues." They'll take our money all day long, but they'll go to any lengths to prevent providing any kind of service.

I live in TEXAS. I've never lived in Chicago. This company is so inept -- they allowed a criminal that stole my PII from a data leak to create an account under my name without paying $800 of bills. I didn't find out until a collections agency called me several months later. I then spent months trying to resolve this with ComEd. ComEd is one of the most incompetent companies I have ever dealt with. They allowed a fraudulent account to be opened in my name using my Social Security number for a property in a part of Illinois I have never lived in. Somehow, this account made it through their system with zero identity verification. I reported the fraud over a year ago and was told it was “handled” and the account was closed. Dont waste your time coming here there is visitor parking but no service staff here, it's employees only. I'd remove the visitor parking or change it to contractor parking.
