Great Service and Facility I have been a customer of Combs Auto Repair of Scottsdale for over 20 years. They have always been honest and up front with all my vehicle needs. They inform you what you need at time of service and if any, things to be aware for future attention. What more can you ask for. You can't find a better car repair shop in all of Arizona. Mr. C
I have my babied 2002 Toyota Tundra with 89,000 miles on it and have been using Combs Auto Repair ever since relocating to North Scottsdale. Until recently, it has just needed routine maintenance, but recently required the timing belt replaced, transmission and radiator flushed. They are so honest it is refreshing. They just don't recommend work which is not necessary. The work was performed in two days and the vehicle is running just great. I will always, I mean ALWAYS, use Combs for all my automotive needs.
I scheduled an appointment in person the day prior to my appointment, and I was never told there would be a charge for an estimate. The following day, after a 10 minute brake inspection/estimate, I was asked to pay a fee for the estimate. Charging for estimates are completely okay, however, I was never told there would be a fee. I received no customer service whatsoever at Combs.
Excellent Service, somethings the price is a little high on but they make up for it with quality works and a friendly sales staff.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Used their service for years and had a routine oil change done. They nearly blew the engine up as they didn't check their work and ended up having 2 gaskets on the oil filter. They were kind enough to give me the $38 for the oil change but wouldn't pay for the $150 bill from a real mechanic that had to come out and fix it. DO NOT USE THEM!!!
