Professor Eric has a wealth of knowledge and his members are respectful. I would highly recommend taking any opportunities you have to learn from them. Great atmosphere.

Eric Spellman is a fantastic instructor and an all around great person! He is always willing to help others and improve the Jiu-jitsu community as a whole. I’ve only been able to train with him a few times, but every time I do, he shares soecific details that make a big positive impact on my capabilities.

My daughters and I have trained under Prof Spellman for a year and a half now. He’s been phenomenal with challenging them but also making them comfortable in an intense sport. The kids learn the fundamentals of jiu jitsu but also perseverance and respect. And they have a lot of fun. For the adults it is a great combination of instruction (to each’s knowledge level), pushing physical limits and good team mates. If you have an opportunity, please drop in and train!

I was able to drop in with Combat Base, MS while working away from home. Coach Spellman has done a wonderful job creating welcoming vibe that echos through his athletes. His youth students moved exceptionally well and the adult students worked solid foundational movements. Highly recommend.
