I worked with Lori for a year and a half to improve the coparenting relationship with my ex-wife. Lori was caring, balanced and thoughtful in her support. Lori was the assigned parenting coordinator for my case about 7 years ago and I found her to be fair and objective throughout the time of service. I think it can be common for people to label parenting coordinators or other service providers as bias towards one party depending on the outcome of individual cases. It really depends on which parent is "favored" and which parent was sanctioned I suppose. Lori was always fair, conscientious and supportive during our coordination timeframe. She demonstrated good ethics and held us accountable for our actions. I would recommend her as a mediator and coordinator.

Lori Caplan handled our case with a lack of empathy and an unprofessionalism and bias we had not yet experienced in the family court system - even with it being an extremely broken system. Her services were extremely harmful to our family and young son. Her conduct appeared incompetent at best, at times bordering on intentionally malicious.
