Columbus Area Visitors Ctr is a surprise. The Visitors Center is located in the heart of downtown Columbus. There is a BEAUTIFUL yellow chandelier by glass artist Dale Chihuly. That alone is worth seeing. We watched the short video on the city's impressive story and took a cell phone tour of the downtown. We are not architecture people, but my husband and I really enjoyed learning about this unique small town and it's impressive architecture.
Come and learn We came to the visitors center, as we had been visitors to Brown County with our in-laws numerous times, and had visited Columbus so often we were getting bored. Not after visiting the Visitor's Center! We found out so much more to do and see and learn about Columbus. Get info there about the Architectural Tour, its awesome, even if you aren't into that kind of thing. And while on the tour, purchase a cookbook that will be offered in one of the churches you visit, I use mine religiously!
