I was referred to Columbus Transmission by mechanic & neighbor. A bad shimmy, dash rattling. Felt like gears skipping too. I talked to Floyd at Cols.Trans. He and Todd, very knowledgible. Got my truck in day after snow ice storm. Next afternoon got a call from Floyd. They ran diagnostics twice, road testing... Found transmission was fine. possible driveshaft and brake issue. And referred me to a service to look at problem. No fee for diagnostics... Still cant believe it, Best service I've received. Mel

I was referred by a mechanic friend that had Floyd and his expert staff of transmission specialists work on his wifes car. I called and they were able to get me in quickly. I have a 2003 Trailblazer with 4 wheel drive and it was running so bad I could not drive on the freeway. I dropped it off with a price quote 300.00 less than anyone else in town. They called me a few days later and found the lines to and from the radiator were rusted and worthless. They went ahead and did the repairs and stuck to my original quoted price.... read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE!! – I was referred to Columbus Transmission by a friend, due to a problem that we thought was transmission related. Todd at this shop was extremely helpful with getting my truck shop and looked at quickly. Within the hour they called to advise me that the issue was not with my transmission and they did what they could do to make my truck driveable so I could get it home to take care of the real problem. Excellent Service – After pulling a trailer with my 2001 Ford Escape through the mountains and in a blizzard my vehicle started experiencing transmission problems. Being from out of town, I was referred to Columbus Transmission by a local mechanic. I called and immediately on the first phone call with Todd was treated very well and with concern. Best in town! – I am a Columbus Cab driver who owns his cab. In the past 18 years I have owned 8 different cabs. When any of them has developed transmission problems they go here. Fast turnaround, quality work and competitive rates are all the norm at Columbus Transmission Tech. I have had two done here where the rebuild outlasted the original equipment!
